The workshop is a “book in action” where learning will unfold through experimentation and discovery. Students will also explore the benefits and limitations of laser-cutting tools, develop practical skills in programming and designing files, and learn strategies to adapt their designs to achieve the desired outcomes.
By the end participants will have the technical foundation and conceptual awareness to approach laser-cutting as a dynamic, responsive form of making, culminating in the creation of a finished, personalized synthetic leather book cover.
