Stories from Gaza Exhibition [27 November - 4 December]

The exhibition contains multifaceted voices from adults and children living in the Gaza Complex located in Al Thumama, Qatar. The exhibition participants created a vast array of works including drawings, poems, essays, weavings, and paintings. The display is divided into 5 sections, including:

- ‘ABCs of Gaza and Qatar’ which explores alphabetical connections between Gaza and Qatar.

- ‘What if?’ a segment assessing the numerous questions children have asked or imagined such as “What if I go to the city of Jerusalem?”.

- ‘More than a flag, more than a land,’ a work that presents the flag and land of Palestine as symbols of freedom, resistance and justice.

- ‘Stories of Endurance’ highlights the stories of several adults living in the Gaza Complex including their backgrounds, experience and hardships.

- ‘Belonging and Expression amidst displacement,’ showcases the new relationships the adults and children have made following their difficult journeys to Qatar.
