Their practices explored themes of philosophy, religion, existence, the cosmos, and ideas of infinite betweenness through both individual and collaborative approaches. Rooted in observation and research, their work translated reflections on contemporary realities into visual forms and speculative perspectives.
Working across print media, artists’ books, sculptural objects, machines, and experimental forms, the residency became a space for research, making, and dialogue. Throughout their time at Liwan, the residents also engaged the wider design community through workshops, talks, and exhibitions.
