Noora Al Melhim

Noora Al Melhim is a Qatari interdisciplinary designer and ceramic artist whose practice explores material, memory, process, and cultural identity through design and ceramics. She holds an MFA in Design Studies and a BFA in Graphic Design from VCU arts Qatar. Her work is rooted in material experimentation, exploring how touch, time, heat, and transformation become embedded in clay, while drawing on Qatari culture, landscape, and traditional practices.

She currently serves as a Clay Lab Consultant at Liwan Design Studios & Labs. Her recent work includes The Changes Within at Sana Art Gallery, Doha (2026), Yom Al Saad: Memory in Clay at Markhiya Gallery, Doha (2025), and the WANAS Collection with FROMM. at Milan Design Week (2024). She also participated in Ektashif Al Andalus, with works presented at the Museum of Islamic Art, Doha (2023); Emerging Talents from Qatar at MAISON&OBJET, Paris (2020); Anderson Gallery, Richmond, USA (2019); Contemporary Art Qatar: The Moving Postcards, Berlin (2018); and Design Days Dubai (2017).
